The school office will consider the application form and contact parents/guardian to invite the pupil for the preliminary test and interview. The school staff will carefully consider the test results and the interview outcome, and inform parents/guardians of the school decision. If the application is accepted, the parents/guardian will be requested to pay a non-refundable deposit of £200. If the application is rejected and the parents wish to complain about the admission process or procedure then please collect the complaints form from the school office and return the form to the same office at your earliest convenience. The school office will arrange the parents meeting with the head teacher for a further discussion. Once again parents/guardian will be informed of the outcome.
Please note the admission priority will be set as follows:-
1. If the child has a sister already at Iqra High school.
2. School staff children.
3. If the child is from our local feeder schools.
4. First come, first serve bases.
PUPIL WITH SPECIAL EDUCATIONAL NEEDS
The school sincerely apologies, with our limited resources, we are unable to take pupils with special needs for the first couple of years. Once the school has sufficient resources and expertise every effort will be made to accommodate such learners.
Tuition Fee
An annual tuition fee of £2300 will be charged for the academic year 2018/19 per child. Parents and guardians please be aware that during the early years of school it will be very challenging for the school management to work with limited resources to deliver the quality education. Many fundraising activities will be arranged during the academic year. The school will welcome any brother/sister to offer any amount of Quraz alhasanah (loan for the sake of Allah) to get the school off the ground.
The following payment options are available to the parents/guardians:
Option 1
Pay the full annual amount of £2300 at the beginning of the academic year in September 2014.
Option 2
Pay 1/3 of the annual amount at the beginning of each term (£667 per term).
Please remember a place for a child is only secured when a non-refundable deposit of £200 is paid prior to the start of an academic year.
Iqra High School Uniforms
All Girls are expected to wear clean uniform according to the school uniform guidelines. The
school uniform is dark green blazer with IHSO badge, long black dress (jubah, hebiah) up to
the ankles. High heel shoes are not allowed, only flat heel black or grey shoes will be
permitted. Only white or black headscarf is permitted. During the physical education lessons
only black or grey tops with same colour tracksuits and trainers and black socks will be
allowed. Please refer to school uniform guidelines. No makeup please.
Suggestions and Complaints
Number of complaints 2017-2018 = 0
If you have any suggestions which you think will improve any service that we offer to pupils and their parents kindly speak to the school secretary or the head teacher. We will make every effort to ensure your ideas and suggestions are fully listened to and implemented where possible.
However, if you find something unsatisfactory or unacceptable, please bring directly to the head teachers attention. Once again every effort will be made to resolve the situation. However, if the initial attempts are unsuccessful and you are still dissatisfied then formal procedures will need to be invoked. Please request a complaints form from the school office, and complete and return to the school office at your earliest convenience.
